Three Months Old

Today Charlie is three months old! What a three months it has been. He continues to amaze us with how strong he is! He's been "working out" on his tummy time mat, as suggested by his pediatrician, and he's able to pick up his head and turn it from side to side. It tuckers him out, for sure, but he works hard!

We were sorry to say goodbye to "Gram Lamb" - we had a great week with her, and she was a huge help to us, with all of the cooking, cleaning, and shopping she did, and her company!

She left yesterday morning, and Aunt Patti and Nana arrived for the night. They were also a huge help, graciously taking over all of Charlie's feedings, including the midnight, 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. ones so George and I could get some sleep!

Here's our first family portrait, with even Elwood getting into the action. He couldn't care less about Charlie - he checks him out from a very safe distance, and then generally ambles in the other direction, unless Charlie is letting out his trademark piercing scream, in which case Elwood flies under the nearest bed.

And a photo of our snoozing boy, looking peaceful in his Moses basket. He's great at sleeping during the day - we have to force him to stay awake so he can get in some exercise time.
Unfortunately, his favorite time of the day is between 3 and 7 a.m., but we're working to get his clock adjusted!

Happy Birthday, Charlie! What a handsome champ he is, too! You must be so proud of him and all he has accomplished in his three months!

Cheers!

Ahhhh!! He's too cute!! And what chubby cheeks you have Charlie! I love the family pic!
I am so happy that Charlie is home and that y'all are getting into a regular, though exhausting, routine with him. I know he's such a blessing and that y'all are so thrilled!
