Wilson Weekend

My mom and her sisters had 8 daughters between the three of them (no sons! though the next generation is changing that pattern), and we are spread out across the country and don't have many opportunities to get together anymore. This weekend, though, all of us but one got together in Rochester, NY for a Wilson family reunion. (Mandy, we missed you and hope you're having a blast in Italy!)

Here are some photos from our fun weekend!

Charlie on his best behavior, thanks to his pacifier, on the plane.

Ann entertaining:

and looking adorable, as usual:

Charlie playing dress up at the amazing Strong Museum of Play:

and playing with legos:

and checking out the Berenstein Bears bookshelf:

and the bears themselves!

Charlie's favorite activity, between mini-meltdowns (hello, age two!), was pushing the rental stroller around.

Charlie and Ann goofing around at lunch:

Dinner at Jen and Byron's wonderful house! Jen teaches a kids' music class, and brought the instruments home for the kids, who LOVED them!! Thanks Jen!

More music, this time with cousin Isaac, on Aunt Liz and Uncle Gene's piano:

And even more music, this time with Aunt Liz playing favorites like the Wheels on the Bus and Itsy Bitsy Spider. Charlie was mesmerized!

We had such a nice time seeing everyone! The next generation is growing fast - my cousin Rachel has a son and a daughter (sorry I didn't capture them in any photos!), Allison has Isaac and another on the way, and then of course there are Ann and Charlie. Hopefully they'll get to spend more time together soon.
Thanks so much for the hospitality, Aunt Liz and Uncle Gene!
