Good news from the doctor, and a fun visit

Charlie has had a great week this week. It started with his first father-son superbowl viewing:

Daddy and Charlie practiced their clapping during the game. Charlie is starting to catch on:

On Monday, I took Charlie to the pulmonary specialist at Children's Hospital. She was so glad to hear that he has not been sick at all yet, and that his chest, nose and ears all looked nice and clear. She told us we don't have to go back - EVER - unless he does get a cold or flu that affects his breathing. Hooray - another doctor crossed off the list!!
The rest of the week was pretty uneventful - Miss Pamela has noticed (as have we) that Charlie is getting better and better at reaching for and playing with his toys. He's moving around great, using both his left and right hands, and really enjoying his many toys!
This weekend, we enjoyed a visit with Gram Lamb, who drove up on Friday to spend the weekend with us. Charlie loved seeing her! He was not interested in eating his cereal until she fed it to him, and she had him laughing a lot. We took a nice long walk yesterday in the beautiful weather (it felt like spring here!), went shopping, and enjoyed playing with Charlie. Mom left early this morning, and we were sorry to see her go.

Here's Charlie, hamming it up for the camera yesterday:

And this morning, enjoying checking himself out in the mirror:
Lastly, here's a video of the little guy sitting up like a champ:
