Quick update

We're headed to the Baltimore aquarium this morning, so that Charlie can enjoy some big fish and maybe a dolphin show. Last year when we went, he was not nearly as aware as he is now, so we're hoping he'll really enjoy it.

In the meantime, though, I wanted to capture a few more things he's saying.

This morning, he and I were in the playroom, and he was playing while I was on the computer. He came over to me and said, "Hi! How you?"

Sometimes he has conversations with himself. When we were going to his bedroom to change him, he said, "Bye-bye Daddy.  Bye-bye Son.  See you back."

He knows his name now, "Cher-wee" and with some coaxing, will even say, "Gwiffin".

I leave for work each day before he wakes up, but Pamela tells me that in the mornings when his daddy leaves, he moans a little and says, "sad, sad".  He does the same thing most nights when Pamela leaves - a few moans and a sad or two, and he's back to whatever he wants to do.

He's a kid who really likes routines. When his daddy gets home from work, he almost immediately starts saying "change" because he wants to go back to the bedroom while George changes out of his work clothes. Then he usually says "beer" because he knows the next step of the process is going down to the beer fridge for a cold one.

He is repeating EVERYTHING right now, so the time has come for us to be really careful with what we let him hear. It's amazing how inclined he is to repeat the things we'd rather he not hear, let alone say!
