Teeth Stubs!

HOORAY, TEETH! (Spoken like HOORAY, BEER! in the Red Stripe commercial. If you know us, you know we're no strangers to that phrase.) You can't exactly see them from a distance or anything, but if you get right up to Charlie's mouth, you can see that the bottom two teeth have pushed through! Charlie is a much happier boy - Pamela said he was on his best behavior today. As she put perfectly, he was "tough" last week. Now he just keeps grinning, my favorite sight.

We've been working on his standing lately. He doesn't pull up yet (fine with me, to be honest) but he can stand unsupported by me if he has something to hold onto, as evidenced below. He doesn't quite trust himself to sit down on his own, so he just yells for rescue when he's over it.

Stubs - yay!!! Soon enough he'll be eating finger foods (if he's not already gumming them). It's so awesome to see him standing up next to the couch. In a few more days he'll probably be trying to sit on his own. Then the up/down/up/down fun begins.
