I had such a nice Mother's Day! I've only celebrated 2 so far, but I know for sure I much prefer mother's day at home to mother's day in the NICU! My kind husband showered me with thoughtful gifts - thank you George! - and we got to host my parents for lunch. It was a beautiful day in DC, which we've earned after LOTS of rain, so we spent lots of time outside.

I am so lucky to have such a sweet boy in my life - I don't know what we did before we had Charlie, but my life is definitely better with him in it. I am so glad to be a mom! And I have an amazing role model in my mom, who took such good care of us and showed us so much love. Thank you mom! Hopefully I'll be able to live up to your example.
