George and I can't believe how much bigger Charlie is already; he's definitely growing like crazy! He's also much more active than he used to be, which makes getting my work done tricky when he's awake. Today he was alternately grinning and screaming; it's amazing how quickly his faces and moods change. He cries so loud now - none of the sweet little mewling he did while he was still in the NICU. These are ear-piercing, glass-breaking screams! I find it hard to believe that he's supposed to have diminished lung capacity. He's still not sleeping much at night, so we're feeling a little rough, but still loving
almost every minute with our little guy, with the exception of the four a.m. yelling.
One of the many "older women" in Charlie's life, sweet Elle Cooper, sent her future friend Charlie this great soft lamb mat which makes a great backdrop for photos.
fish face (this is a regular facial expression for him, for some reason):

rolling over! (amazing how strong the little guy is - he just pushed himself up and over like it was no big deal... but then he didn't like it much when he ended up on his back):

handsome boy!
