Here's one of Charlie in an adorable outfit Joe, Niki and Jenelle sent the little guy.
Speaking of the eye doctor, exams on babies this age are pretty torturous, so we were very glad to hear he doesn't have to go back for 6 months! His retinopathy of prematurity has cleared up, as they hoped it would, so that's wonderful news. His optic nerve still has a larger than usual amount of depression, but they think that will most likely reduce and won't be a big deal.
Here's a close-up of bathtime, which Charlie now seems to enjoy. This was after a blow-out diaper - sometimes it's just easier to throw him in the bath!
Today
And lastly, here's a close-up of the pouty lip that is sure to get him whatever he wants. Especially in his "tweet me nice" onesie!
In other news, we think Charlie is over 9 pounds now - George and I took turns hopping on the bathroom scale holding him, and both times he added over 9 pounds to our weight. We see the pediatrician again next week, so he'll confirm the weight gain, but we're excited to see him getting bigger. I think most of the weight gain is in his cheeks.
Dad and Charlie are now relaxing on the couch after a long day. Charlie's perfectly sized now for good naps on dad's lap.
Hope everyone has a great night!

Charlie!! You are too cute!!! That bath-time pic is precious!! I hate the eye doctor, so I can only imagine how an infant would react! Marie, thank you for your sweet email about my wedding!! We'll definitely send out some pictures once we get them!!
