Look how proud he is!
We've been hoping he would show some interest in holding his bottle on his own, and every few days, we'd give it a try, but he didn't have much interest. But yesterday he held it for a few seconds - and tonight he held it pretty much the whole time he drank - and then tossed it to the floor when it was empty. Next we'll work on his manners! It is just so fun to watch him pick things up - it may take him a little longer to get ready to try new things, but once he does try, he gets it down quickly!
Yesterday I also fixed him a sippy cup of juice to bring along on our walk (smart idea of the therapist's, since learning to drink from a cup indoors means lots of sticky furniture) and for the first time, he actually drank his juice from it. What a good boy!
