All news is good news!!

HOORAY!!

We are so excited to announce that baby Rosengren has joined our family!! Ann Bentley Rosengren was born this morning. At 7 pounds and 19 inches, she is a whole lot bigger than Charlie was at birth, but considering she was almost a week late, I think Katie was pretty lucky she was a perfect 7 pounds! She is truly adorable, and Katie and Brent sound great - a little tired, since Katie went into labor late last night, but so excited that Ann is here! Charlie can't wait to meet his newest cousin - Christmas with the babies will be so fun!

In other good news, Charlie had a great appointment with the pulmonary specialist this week. She said his lungs sound good and was pleased to see how big and healthy he looks. She took him off one of the 2 medicines he gets via nebulizer twice a day, which is a relief! Charlie doesn't much like being nebulized, so 10 minutes twice daily is a lot better than 25! We also found out that, at 11.9 pounds, our little guy is finally bigger than Elwood! The cat is on a hunger strike, so assuming he starts eating again soon (we hope!!), he may still give Charlie a run for his money - but not for long!

We also have some wonderful professional photos that were taken of him back in early August. We got the greatest gift from our friend Michelle, who I went to college with and whose husband is my boss. She has a photography business, and she gave us a free photo session. She did such a good job with Charlie, and was VERY patient. And the results were fantastic! If anyone local is looking for a photographer, we highly recommend her.
