More photos of the big boy

Charlie's getting bigger all the time! We're looking forward to the pediatrician appointment on August 1st to see how much he's grown.
Here's a good photo of Charlie and Dad relaxing on the couch:

Here's one of Charlie enjoying the swing the Wallaces loaned us. The swing has a duck mobile, and Charlie has just figured out that it is there, so now he spends a lot of his time in the swing staring upward, which doesn't look very comfortable - but we're glad to see him becoming aware of it.

Here's a picture of both my babies. Elwood, who initially had no interest in Charlie at all, has now realized that my lap, which used to be constantly occupied by him, is now primarily Charlie's resting place, so if he's going to get any attention, he better learn to share.

Here's what we do to our little guy twice a day now. This is a picture of him with the nebulizer. Each session we have to dispense 2 different types of medications, which means Charlie has to wear this mask for about 40 minutes twice a day. This session was going very well; Charlie alternates between sleeping through his treatments and screaming bloody murder/shaking his head wildly from side to side to get free of the rubber mask. It is not fun to have to put him through what he clearly feels is torture, but it's worth it if it is going to help his breathing and reflux.

Next is a less-than-flattering photo of me, but it so perfectly captures the reality of my evenings that I figured I should post it anyway. Charlie is a cuddly sleeping partner, and a lot of our nights end up with George watching the news and Charlie and me conked out beside him. The Boppy makes a great pillow!

Here's Charlie this morning looking exhausted. I can't really blame him, considering he was busy screaming himself to sleep at 2 this morning. Yesterday he and dad had some one-on-one time while I was at a friend's baby shower, and he was such a good boy and slept all afternoon. We paid for that later!

And here is our boy in an adorable lamb onesie my cousin Lee brought back for him from her year in New Zealand. We're so glad she's back, and Charlie can't wait to meet her and thank her in person for the cute lamby outfit!
