Friday, Part II

What started out as a great day didn't end so well. Charlie seemed to be feeling worse after his nap, but we ran a quick errand and he did a bunch of walking around outside (we need to make him practice, so I was trying - and he was being a good sport). Then he started to get pretty puny, so I brought him in for bathtime, which is one of his favorite parts of the day.

Here's his Happy Easter pose. Those are Nestle Crunch eggs he strategically placed to protect his modesty.

He had fun in the tub, and seemed to be feeling better again.

But then I tried to feed him. He pushed everything away except for cucumber slices with curry dip, and then after eating a third of a cucumber, got sick all over his tray and his nice, clean jammies. Gross, but I should have expected it - often when he has a stuffy nose, it affects his stomach as well. I took his temperature again, and this time he was running a low grade fever, so I think he was just worn out. We got him in a new pair of clean pjs, read one of his favorite books a few times, and tucked him in.

Hopefully he'll be feeling back to himself after a good night's sleep. Meanwhile, even sick, he's pretty darn cute!
