My new camera

Since my camera never recovered from whatever was wrong with it, my mom gave me a new one as an early birthday present! I ordered it last week, and it just arrived, so I've been trying it out over the weekend. It takes photos and video.

As you can see in the video, Charlie still gets very excited about food, especially food he can feed himself. He likes to stuff as many puffs in his mouth as he can; he's not exactly a polite eater yet.

Yesterday, we went to help Claire celebrate her 6th birthday party. Charlie had a great time watching the magician and seeing all of the kids. There was even a little boy there who was born right about when Charlie was due. Charlie was actually bigger than he was - I guess all this enthusiastic eating is paying off! Speaking of which, we gave Charlie his first ice cream at the party yesterday. He ate a bite or two off my plate and liked it so much, I asked if he could have his own. He ate an entire scoop of vanilla ice cream, and cried when it was finished! Looks like he's got a sweet tooth like his mommy.

Charlie's therapist came for his bi-monthly appointment on Friday, and was thrilled with his progress! She was really happy to see him crawling and clapping. He worked really well for her - usually part of the hour is occupied by a meltdown when he gets tired, but apparently on Friday he tolerated all the exercises without any fussing. What a good boy!
