Today, we're enjoying celebrating Charlie's first birthday with him. We let him open one present last night - he has TONS, so we figured we'd give him one early and see how he liked it. Here he is, opening a present from Gram Lamb and Papa Rex:
Typical baby - he's much more interested in the paper than he is in the cute horse! I'm sure he'll love the horse too, but we thought his initial reaction was pretty funny.
Look at all the presents! Two are from us, but all the rest have come from family and friends - what a lucky (spoiled) boy!
Here he is, enjoying the wrapping on a big present from his nanny Pamela. As usual, he has to test out how the bag tastes before he sees what's inside.

Here Charlie is, playing with his new helicopter! It plays songs and makes noises and is full of colorful balls to play with - what a fun new toy!
Here he is at breakfast, sporting a new bib from Auntie, which says "I'd rather be eating cookies, cake and candy" - I'm sure he felt just that way as he ate his breakfast oatmeal.
And checking out his brand new windbreaker:
We haven't even made it halfway through the presents when it was time to take a break for breakfast and a nap, so stay tuned for more photos of Charlie enjoying his new gifts. Thanks everyone!!
