Our little guy just keeps getting bigger! He's gotten much longer, I think - we go to see the pediatrician next week, so it will be interesting to see how much he's grown. This will be his 6 month appointment - hard to believe he's been with us that long!

Charlie had his first formula bottle yesterday. It's been hard to get used to the idea that he won't get any more breast milk, since we really believe that it has been instrumental in his growth. But my supply has been dwindling since I resumed working, and at this point I can't make even a bottle a day. While it is the best to be home with him while he's still so little, caring for Charlie and working has made for very busy days, and apparently that is a side effect. On that note, as Charlie sleeps less and gets more active, it has gotten harder to get as much done as I need to, so I'm looking for a part-time mother's helper/baby-sitter. If you know of anyone who might be interested, please let me know!

We had a great time seeing our good friend Sarah this week - she lives in Seattle, but recently accepted a job with a company headquartered here, so she stayed with us for a few days while she was training there. It was so fun to get to spend the evenings with her! We miss having her in DC!!

Charlie is still a big fan of his Baby Papasan chair that Lauren loaned us. You can see if you look at the pictures below how much better he fits in the chair now, and how much bigger he's gotten!
