Kwanza instructed me on bathing him, and he did NOT enjoy it. Here's the face of pain:
and then the screaming began!
Whoa!
Getting his hair washed,
armpits scrubbed,
and back cleaned...
and clean and fresh in a new outfit from our friends the Browns:
What a cutie!!
Goodnight!

Marie and George,
I'm out in SF visiting with grandkids Mella and Jasper. As you know, they, too, were preemies, and Jasper was smaller than your Charlie is now! He's well on his way–looking so big already!
You should see the twins now, four years later! You have much to look forward to!
The pictures are fabulous, and I'm sure he'll learn to like the bath (smile!)
Love ya,
Claire
Dear Charlie,
I hated my first baths too, but mommy said they weren't negotiable because of my stinky pants. Those sponge baths are the worst! But just wait till you get to sit in the water...it feels great! You'll love it. Uncle B says everyone's hoping you will get to come home soon and I'm super happy for you. Your room looks cool. Can't wait to play together.
Your friend,
Ben R.
